Full details
The Feandrea Portable Dog Travel Crate is designed for pet owners who need a reliable, lightweight solution for transporting medium to large dogs weighing between 32 and 42 kg. Its primary benefit is the combination of a high-strength steel frame with a collapsible design, allowing for easy storage and portability during travel. FAQs
Is this crate safe for air travel?
This crate is designed for car travel and indoor use. It is not recommended for airline cargo transport, as soft-sided crates generally do not meet IATA standards for air safety.
How much does the crate weigh?
Due to its steel construction, it is lightweight enough for one person to carry, though it provides more heft than purely nylon-based carriers.
Can the fleece pad be washed in a machine?
Yes, the fleece pad is removable and machine washable. Use a cold, gentle cycle.
Will my dog chew through the mesh?
While the mesh is durable, it is not chew-proof. If your dog is a destructive chewer, they may damage the mesh doors.
Does it come with a carrying handle?
The crate is designed to be carried by the structural frame once folded, or handled as a unit using the integrated straps provided.
Is the crate waterproof?
The Oxford fabric is water-resistant, making it easy to wipe down, but it is not waterproof for heavy rain exposure.
Troubleshooting
The crate does not stand upright correctly
Ensure all internal frame support bars are fully extended and locked into their respective slots.
The zipper is difficult to move
Check that the fabric is pulled taut and not caught in the zipper teeth; ensure the frame is fully expanded to prevent tension on the zipper.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly: The crate utilizes an intuitive internal frame locking system. Simply pull the steel frame segments together until they click into place. To collapse the crate, release the tension bars by pressing the locking mechanism and fold the frame inward.
Compatibility: This crate is sized specifically for medium-to-large breeds weighing between 32 and 42 kg. Always measure your dog while standing to ensure they can turn around fully inside the 102x69x69cm dimensions.
Care Instructions:
- Fleece Pad: Remove and wash on a gentle cycle; air dry to prevent shrinkage.
- Fabric Shell: Wipe down regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that may degrade the Oxford fabric.
- Frame: Keep the steel joints clear of debris and ensure they are dry before folding to prevent oxidation.
