Compatibility
Ensure that the chainring is compatible with your Brompton bike's spider-type crankset (2013 onwards). Verify the tooth count (44T, 50T, or 54T) matches your needs and original setup.
Installation
- Remove the old chainring and guard assembly.
- Align the new chainring and guard with the crankset.
- Securely tighten the bolts, ensuring even pressure.
- Check for smooth chain movement after installation.
Care
- Regularly inspect the chainring and guard for wear and tear.
- Clean the chainring and guard periodically with a degreaser to remove dirt and grime.
- Lubricate the chain regularly for optimal performance.
- If the chainring teeth are worn or damaged, replace the chainring.
Tools Needed
- Allen keys or a suitable tool for removing and tightening the bolts.
- A chain tool (optional, but helpful for chain removal/installation).
