Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires basic hand tools, such as a rubber mallet to drive the spikes into the ground. Before installing, ensure the soil along your proposed border line is loose enough for the spikes to penetrate. If the ground is dry and compacted, lightly dampen the soil first.
- Lay the border out in the sun for 30 minutes to increase pliability if you are installing in cooler temperatures.
- Position the border along your desired edge.
- Secure the border by hammering the provided fixing spikes through the pre-cut holes until the head is flush with the rubber.
- Ensure the border is level to maintain the uniform stone look.
For care, simply rinse with a garden hose to remove mud or debris buildup. No protective sealants are required due to the inherent weather-resistant nature of the recycled rubber.
