Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
To get started with your Revlon One Step Hair Styler, simply plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet. For optimal results and to reduce styling time, it is recommended to use the styler on towel-dried, damp hair. Ensure your hair is detangled before beginning the styling process.
Compatibility
This hair styler is versatile and suitable for various hair types, particularly excelling at creating volume and smooth finishes for medium to long hair. The adjustable 3 heat and 2 speed settings allow you to customize the styling intensity, making it adaptable for both fine and thicker hair textures. For very short hair, users might find smaller, more precise styling tools preferable.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your Revlon One Step Hair Styler:
- Cleaning the Air Filter: Regularly check and clean the air intake vent located at the back of the styler. Lint, dust, and hair can accumulate, restricting airflow and affecting performance. Use a small brush or a vacuum cleaner attachment to gently remove debris.
- Cleaning the Barrel: After the styler has completely cooled down, wipe the ceramic barrel and bristles with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Always allow the styler to cool completely before storing. Do not wrap the power cord tightly around the appliance, as this can cause damage over time. Store it in a safe, dry place away from moisture.
- Cord Maintenance: Periodically inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. If the cord becomes twisted during use, gently untwist it to prevent wear and tear.
