Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the surface you wish to decorate is clean, dry, and free from grease or dust. This is crucial for good adhesion.
- Carefully position the chosen stencil onto the surface. Use low-tack masking tape if you need extra security, especially for intricate areas.
- Load your art brush with a small amount of paint. Avoid overloading the brush to prevent bleeding under the stencil.
- Apply the paint by dabbing or lightly brushing over the stencil openings. Work in thin, even layers for best results.
- Carefully remove the stencil while the paint is still wet to achieve clean edges. If the paint is too thick, it may smudge.
- Allow the paint to dry completely. Consult the information sheet for specific drying times.
Compatibility:
This paint is designed for use on smooth, non-porous surfaces such as:
It is not recommended for porous surfaces or materials that cannot withstand light cleaning.
Care:
- For best results and longevity, hand wash decorated items gently with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- If used for decoration where items are handled frequently, consider applying a compatible clear varnish or sealant over the dried paint for added durability. Always test sealants on a small, inconspicuous area first.
