Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The watch comes pre-set with a battery. To set the time and date, gently pull the crown outwards to the first or second position (depending on the movement's configuration for date setting) and turn to adjust. For chronograph functions, familiarize yourself with the start/stop and reset pushers. Ensure the crown is pushed in fully after setting to maintain water resistance.
Compatibility: As a standalone timepiece, compatibility is not a major concern. However, if you plan to have the battery replaced or the watch serviced, it is recommended to use a qualified watchmaker experienced with Swiss movements to maintain its integrity.
Care: Clean the stainless steel case and bracelet periodically with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid exposing the watch to harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures, or strong magnetic fields. After exposure to saltwater or chlorinated water, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent corrosion. It is advisable to have the water resistance checked periodically, especially if the watch is frequently exposed to water or has been subjected to impact.
