This guide is for contractors and DIY enthusiasts using Milwaukee cordless nailers for interior finishing work. The key benefit is the reliable performance of these galvanised 16-gauge, 45mm nails, ensuring a secure hold for trim, moulding, and cabinetry. A potential caveat is their suitability primarily for Service Class 1 environments due to galvanisation. These nails are collated at a 20-degree angle, designed for specific Milwaukee M18 nailer models, and come in a pack of 2000.

Each pack contains 2000 Milwaukee finish nails.
While they might fit mechanically, optimal performance and jam reduction are guaranteed only with the specified Milwaukee M18 models due to the precise collation angle and design.
SC1 refers to Service Class 1, indicating the nails are suitable for use in dry interior environments where there is minimal risk of corrosion.
Yes, the galvanised finish can be painted over after proper surface preparation, allowing for a seamless finish with your project.
Check that the nail strip is correctly seated in the magazine and that no debris is obstructing the feeder. Ensure the correct nail collation angle (20-degree) is being used.
Verify the nailer's depth adjustment is set correctly. Check the battery charge on your M18 nailer; low power can affect driving force. Ensure you are using the specified nail length and gauge for your tool.
Inspect the nailer's nosepiece for any bent or broken nails. Clear any obstructions. Ensure you are using genuine Milwaukee nails designed for your specific model.
This can occur if the galvanised coating is damaged during driving or if exposed to moisture. For critical applications, consider stainless steel nails. Ensure proper storage.
