Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Installation typically involves securing the treads to your existing stair structure or wall using appropriate screws and adhesive, depending on the application. Ensure the surface beneath is clean and stable. Pre-drilling may be advisable to prevent splitting, especially near the edges. It is recommended to use wood screws suitable for the substrate.
Compatibility:
These treads are designed for standard staircases and can be adapted for shelving or windowsill applications. They are compatible with most common building materials. Ensure your sub-surface is sound and capable of supporting the weight. Note that the delivery includes twelve treads only; any mounting hardware, frames, or risers must be sourced separately.
Care:
Due to the natural wood material, avoid excessive moisture. Clean spills immediately. For routine cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the wood's finish or natural grain. Periodically check for any loosening and re-secure as needed.
