Setup, Compatibility & Care
For optimal installation, ensure you are anchoring the bracket into structural wood studs or appropriate commercial-grade masonry anchors. Avoid installing solely into drywall, as the weight of a handrail requires a solid substrate. To install, hold the bracket in the desired position, mark the five pilot holes, and secure it using the provided screws. Periodic maintenance involves checking the screws once a year to ensure they remain tight, especially in high-traffic homes. If cleaning the silver finish, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth; avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges to prevent marring the surface.
