Yes, it features Nomite protection, making it specifically suitable for house dust mite allergy sufferers.
Downpass is an independent certification that ensures the down and feathers used as filling material are ethically sourced and of high quality.
It is recommended to have the duvet professionally cleaned every 1-2 years, provided you use a duvet cover and shake it out regularly.
Yes, the duvet is encased in 100% responsibly sourced Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) cotton.
It is strongly advised against using standard home machines, as the size and weight of a down duvet can damage domestic equipment. Always seek professional cleaning services.
Gently shake the duvet and allow it to air in a room for 24-48 hours to let the natural down clusters expand.
This is normal for high-quality down products; gently pull the feather back into the casing and rub the fabric to reseal the weave.
Regularly 'plump' the duvet by shaking it from the corners to redistribute the down and feathers within their internal chambers.
Upon arrival, allow the duvet to air out for several hours to let the down clusters expand to their full loft. This product is compatible with all standard duvet covers; ensure you choose a cover size that matches your duvet dimensions to prevent clumping. To maintain the life of the duvet, shake it out daily. For cleaning, professional laundering is recommended due to the delicate nature of the down fill. Avoid aggressive vacuuming or harsh chemicals, and store in a breathable fabric storage bag rather than plastic to prevent moisture buildup.
