The Buffalo 10.5 Inch Scavenger Broom Head is designed for professional landscapers, contractors, and homeowners tackling heavy-duty outdoor cleanup tasks. It excels at clearing stubborn debris from rough concrete and pavement thanks to its stiff bristles and high-durability construction; however, its aggressive texture makes it unsuitable for indoor hardwood floors or delicate surfaces.

No, the bristles are too stiff and abrasive and may scratch indoor flooring or damage delicate surfaces.
This head is designed for a 24mm diameter handle. While others might fit, using the recommended Buffalo 231025-1 handle ensures the best compatibility with the Tuff-Lok bracket.
Use a stiff brush or a garden hose to remove impacted dirt and debris, then shake off excess water and store in a dry, shaded area.
Occasional application of a wood sealant or oil can help prolong the life of the wooden stock if the broom is frequently used in wet conditions.
It is best suited for clearing heavy outdoor debris like gravel, stones, wet leaves, and construction waste from concrete or asphalt surfaces.
Check the Tuff-Lok bracket for debris and ensure the handle is fully inserted and tightened; if the handle threads are stripped, replace the wooden handle.
Soak the bristle ends in warm (not boiling) water for a few minutes to soften them, then reshape them and allow them to air dry while hanging.
To set up the broom, align the 24mm end of the 231025-1 wooden handle with the Tuff-Lok bracket on the broom head. Ensure the handle is fully seated and tightened according to the bracket's locking mechanism to prevent movement. For care, avoid leaving the broom in standing water or harsh weather conditions for extended periods to protect the wooden stock from rot or warping. After use in muddy areas, rinse the bristles with a hose and allow the broom to dry upside down or hanging to maintain bristle integrity and prevent mold buildup.
