FAQs

What is the benefit of the FastLayer Core?

The FastLayer Core is designed to provide both distance and soft feel. The core's construction, with a soft center and firm outer edge, helps maximize ball speed off the tee while maintaining a comfortable impact feel.

How does the dimple pattern affect the ball's performance?

The 338 Speed Dimple Pattern reduces drag during launch and increases lift during descent, which enhances distance and performance, particularly in windy conditions.

Are these golf balls suitable for all skill levels?

Yes, the Srixon Soft Feel Brite golf balls are suitable for a wide range of golfers, but are particularly well-suited for those who prioritize feel and control.

How often should I replace my golf balls?

Replace your golf balls when they become cut, scuffed, or if you notice a significant decline in performance. Regular inspection is recommended.

Can I use these balls in tournaments?

Yes, these golf balls conform to USGA rules and are suitable for tournament play.

What is the benefit of the soft cover?

The soft, thin cover enhances greenside spin and delivers a softer feel on pitches, chips, and putts.

How does the color help my game?

The bright orange color increases visibility, making it easier to spot your ball on the course and reducing the chance of losing it.

Troubleshooting

Ball feels too soft or lacks distance.

Ensure you are making solid contact. The soft feel may require a slight adjustment to your swing to maximize distance.

Difficulty spotting the ball in certain conditions.

The orange color is designed for high visibility, but in certain shaded areas or against specific backgrounds, it might be challenging. Consider using a different color ball if this is a recurring problem.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Soft feel promotes comfortable impact and greater confidence.
  • FastLayer Core maximizes distance.
  • Dimple pattern enhances performance in windy conditions.
  • Thin cover improves greenside spin.
  • High-visibility orange color for easy tracking.

Cons

  • The bright orange color may not be ideal in all lighting or course conditions.
  • Softer feel may result in slightly less distance for some players compared to firmer balls.
  • May be more susceptible to cuts and abrasions due to the soft cover.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

These golf balls require no special setup. They are compatible with all golf clubs and can be used on any course. To care for your golf balls:

  1. Storage: Store the balls in a dry place, away from extreme temperatures.
  2. Cleaning: Clean the balls after each round with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the cover.
  3. Inspection: Regularly inspect the balls for cuts or damage. Replace any ball that is significantly damaged, as this can affect its performance.
