Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the hot water bottle is clean before its first use.
- Unscrew the cap completely.
- Hold the bottle upright and slowly fill it with hot (not boiling) water from the tap. Do not use water from a kettle that has just boiled. A temperature of around 80°C (176°F) is recommended.
- Fill only to about two-thirds capacity or until the water level reaches the stopper.
- Carefully push out any remaining air from the bottle by lowering it gently by the filling opening until water appears.
- Screw the cap back on tightly, ensuring it is completely secure to prevent any leaks.
- Wipe the bottle dry with a cloth.
Compatibility:
This hot water bottle is designed for use with standard hot tap water. It is not suitable for microwave heating or for use with chemical heat sources.
Care:
- After each use, empty completely and hang upside down to dry with the stopper removed.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Avoid prolonged contact with cleaning agents or oily substances.
- To clean, use a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
