FAQs
What makes this hose 'non-bending'?
The hose features a robust 6-layer construction with a special braid that enhances its resistance to kinking and bending, allowing for consistent water flow and easier handling.
How long is the manufacturer's protection?
The Cellfast YACHT PRESTIGE ™ ATSV ™ hose comes with a 25-year manufacturer's protection, indicating its high durability and quality.
What accessories are included in the set?
The set includes a multifunctional hand sprinkler ERGO™, a hose quick connector with a stop function ERGO™, a hose quick connector for water flow ERGO™, and a multi-purpose connector with a female thread ERGO™. A strap for storage is also included.
Can I use other brand's accessories with this hose?
While the included ERGO™ accessories are designed for optimal performance, the hose itself typically uses standard garden hose fittings, so other compatible accessories might work. However, full compatibility is guaranteed with the ERGO™ line.
How do I clean the hose and accessories?
You can clean the hose and accessories with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning tools.
Is this hose suitable for drinking water?
This hose is designed for garden and general outdoor use. It is not specifically rated or recommended for potable (drinking) water.
What is the main advantage of the ERGO™ connectors?
The ERGO™ connectors are designed for user comfort and ease of use, featuring quick connection and disconnection, and integrated functions like water stopping, which simplifies garden watering tasks.
Troubleshooting
Hose is leaking at the connection point
Ensure the ERGO™ quick connector or multi-purpose connector is securely attached to the hose and the tap. Check for any debris or damage on the O-rings or connection threads. Tighten connections firmly but do not overtighten.
Water flow is weak or inconsistent
Verify that the tap is fully open. Check the hose for kinks or blockages. Ensure the quick connectors are properly seated and the stop function is not accidentally engaged. Clean any debris from the sprinkler head or nozzle.
Sprinkler not working as expected
Disassemble the sprinkler head and clean out any sediment or debris. Check that the water pressure is sufficient. Adjust the spray pattern settings on the multifunctional hand sprinkler.
Hose is difficult to uncoil or seems stiff
Allow the hose to warm up in sunlight for a short period, as extreme cold can temporarily stiffen the material. Ensure the hose is fully drained of water. The non-bending design means it should naturally lay relatively flat.
