Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Installation involves mounting the stub axles to the trailer frame, attaching the hubs with the integrated sealed bearings, fitting the wheels (tyre already mounted on the rim), and securing the hitch to the trailer's drawbar. Ensure all bolts are tightened to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications. The hitch is designed to fit over a standard 50mm box section.
Compatibility: This kit is designed for trailers with a 50mm box section drawbar and a standard 50mm towball. The wheel hubs have a 4-stud pattern with a 100mm PCD and a 60mm centre hole. The stub axles are 35x35mm square. It is crucial to verify these dimensions match your trailer's existing specifications before purchase.
Care: The sealed bearings are maintenance-free and do not require greasing. Regularly inspect the tyre for wear, damage, and proper inflation (up to 90psi recommended for maximum load). Check the hitch and all fixings for tightness before each use. Clean components with a damp cloth as needed; avoid abrasive cleaners.
