Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Jessup brushes, follow these care guidelines:
- Initial Cleaning: Gently rinse new brushes with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free cleanser before the first use.
- Routine Maintenance: Wash brushes weekly using a dedicated makeup brush cleaner or gentle shampoo to remove oils and buildup.
- Drying: Always dry brushes laying flat or hanging upside down with the bristles facing downward to prevent water from loosening the adhesive in the ferrule.
- Compatibility: These brushes are compatible with liquids, creams, and powders. If using with high-pigment cream products, ensure you rinse the brush thoroughly between uses to prevent color transfer.
- Storage: Keep brushes in a dry, cool area away from direct sunlight to maintain the shape of the fibers.
