Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This cooker hood supports both ducted and recirculating installation methods. For ducted installations, ensure proper ventilation ducting is connected and routed to an external vent. For recirculating installations, carbon filters (sold separately) must be fitted to filter the air before it is released back into the kitchen. Refer to the manufacturer's installation manual for detailed diagrams and specific requirements.
Compatibility:
Designed for integration into standard kitchen cabinetry. Ensure sufficient space and electrical connection points are available. Compatibility with existing ducting or filter types should be confirmed based on your specific setup.
Care:
Regular cleaning of the exterior with a damp cloth is recommended. The metal grease filters should be removed and washed regularly (check manual for frequency, typically monthly) either by hand or in a dishwasher on a hot setting. If using the recirculating mode, carbon filters need periodic replacement (refer to manual for lifespan and replacement procedure). Always ensure the appliance is switched off and cool before cleaning.
