The DIVCHI Window Insulation Kit is an ideal solution for homeowners and renters seeking an affordable way to improve thermal efficiency and eliminate cold draughts. By creating an airtight seal over your existing windows, this kit helps regulate indoor temperatures year-round, keeping heat inside during winter and cool air trapped during summer. While it is highly effective at reducing heat loss and blocking dust, users should note that the shrink film is a single-season application and will need to be replaced if removed.

It is suitable for most sliding and casement frames, provided there is a flat surface for the tape to adhere to.
The tape is designed to be removed easily, but it is recommended to peel it off slowly to prevent peeling paint or finish on older frames.
The film creates an airtight seal that is designed to stay in place. You will need to remove the film to operate the window.
Each kit includes one 1.57m x 1.82m sheet of film, enough for one standard-sized window.
While the film is transparent, it is primarily designed for insulation and draft reduction rather than UV protection.
Ensure the frame is completely clean, dry, and free of dust or grease before applying the adhesive tape.
Use a hair dryer on a medium-heat setting to gently shrink the film until the wrinkles disappear.
Keep the hair dryer moving constantly and do not hold it too close to the surface of the film.
To install, first clean your window frame with rubbing alcohol to ensure the adhesive tape bonds correctly. Apply the tape around the entire perimeter of the frame. Peel the backing off the tape, press the film firmly into place starting from the top, and smooth it out. Finally, use a hair dryer to shrink the film until it is taut. For care, avoid using sharp objects near the film, as it can puncture. If you notice any small gaps where air is escaping, you can reinforce the seal with extra adhesive tape or patch small tears with clear packing tape.
