This guide is for individuals and professionals looking to neatly organize and secure cables along walls, door frames, and corners. The Goobay Fixpoint 17084 cable clips offer a simple and effective solution for managing cables up to 14mm in diameter, providing a clean aesthetic and preventing trip hazards. While durable, their primary use is for static cable management, not for bundling multiple high-tension cables.

The clips are made from durable Polyethylene (PE) plastic, and they feature integrated galvanised steel nails.
Yes, the high-quality stabilised PE plastic and galvanised steel nails offer good insulation, corrosion resistance, and aging resistance, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. However, prolonged exposure to harsh elements is not recommended.
Each clip is designed to hold one cable or a bundle of cables with a maximum combined diameter of 14.0 mm.
You will need a hammer to drive the integrated nail into the desired surface.
These clips are ideal for mounting on wood, drywall, plaster, and similar semi-hard surfaces. They can also be used on some plastic surfaces.
You can clean the clips by wiping them with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using strong cleaning agents.
These clips are primarily designed for low-voltage and data cables for organization. Always follow electrical safety guidelines and consult a professional for high-voltage installations.
Ensure the nail is fully hammered into the surface. For harder surfaces, pre-drilling a small pilot hole may improve grip. Verify the surface is not crumbling or too soft.
Use a steady, direct force with the hammer. Ensure the nail is aligned perpendicular to the surface. If the surface is very hard, a pilot hole is recommended.
Verify the cable or bundle diameter does not exceed the 14mm maximum limit. If it's slightly over, consider using multiple clips or a larger clip size if available.
This may occur if excessive force is applied or if the clip is exposed to extreme cold. Ensure gentle but firm hammering. Replace any broken clips.
