FAQs

Can this hose be left outside year-round?

While it is designed for outdoor use, it is recommended to store it in a shaded, dry area or a shed during winter to protect the PVC material.

Is the spray gun compatible with other hose brands?

The set uses standard quick-connect fittings, which are compatible with most major garden irrigation brands.

How do I wind the hose back onto the reel properly?

Guide the hose onto the reel evenly while turning the handle to prevent buildup on one side.

Is the hose suitable for drinking water?

No, this hose is intended for garden and cleaning use only and is not rated for potable water.

What is the diameter of the hose?

The hose is a standard size compatible with standard domestic 1/2-inch or 3/4-inch faucet adapters.

Troubleshooting

Water leaking at the connection point

Check the rubber washer inside the connector; replace if worn or misaligned.

Hose is kinking during use

Ensure the hose is fully uncoiled from the reel; do not pull it while the reel is locked.

Reduced water pressure

Check the spray gun nozzle for debris or sediment; rinse the nozzle thoroughly to clear the internal jets.

Pros and Cons

Included reel keeps storage neat and tangle-free
Multi-pattern nozzle adds versatility for different tasks
Easy to set up with standard quick-connect system

Cons

Full 50m hose can be heavy to pull across the lawn

Larger footprint requires adequate storage space
Not intended for industrial or high-pressure commercial use

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up your system, simply attach the female quick-connect fitting to your outdoor faucet and click the male end of the hose into place. Ensure the hose is fully unwound before usage to maintain internal pressure. For care, avoid leaving the hose coiled in direct, harsh sunlight for extended periods to prevent UV degradation of the PVC. Before winter, disconnect the hose from the faucet and allow the water to drain out completely to prevent internal freezing, which can damage the lining. The reel should be placed on a level, stable surface to prevent tipping when reeling or unreeling the hose.
