Setup, Compatibility & Care
To apply, measure and cut the required length of tape using archival-safe scissors. Moisten the adhesive side sparingly with a damp sponge or brush—do not oversaturate. Press the tape firmly against the repair area and use a bone folder to smooth out any air bubbles, ensuring a strong, flat bond. Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the adhesive. The tape is compatible with most standard paper types, but always test on a scrap piece if you are working with extremely porous or thin specialty paper. If removal is necessary, consult a professional conservator or apply a small amount of mineral spirits to soften the bond before gently lifting the tape.
