Setup is immediate; the drum comes pre-tuned and ready to play out of the box. No software or electrical power is required. To maintain the instrument, wipe the surface with a soft, dry microfiber cloth after every use to remove finger oils, which can degrade the finish over time. Keep the instrument away from extreme humidity or direct sunlight for extended periods to ensure the metal does not warp or oxidize. When storing, ensure it is kept in a dry area and refrain from placing heavy objects on top of the tongue surface, as this may impact the calibration of the notes.
