Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up, simply insert the USB-A end into your computer or hub and the USB-B end into your peripheral device. The connection is plug-and-play, requiring no additional driver software. This cable adheres to the USB 2.0 standard and is physically backward compatible with USB 1.1 hardware.
To ensure the longevity of the cable:
- Avoid bending the cable sharply at the connector joints.
- Keep the connectors free of dust and debris to maintain optimal gold-plated contact.
- Do not place heavy objects on the ferrite chokes, as these components are rigid and sensitive to direct pressure.
- When disconnecting, always pull by the molded connector housing rather than tugging on the cable cord itself.
