Troubleshooting
TSA lock is jammed or will not open
Ensure the dials are perfectly aligned. If you have forgotten your code, check if there is an alternative keyhole for TSA agents, though the combination must be remembered by the user.
Telescopic handle feels stuck
Extend the handle fully and then retract it to ensure the locking mechanism is properly seated. Avoid forcing the handle if it encounters resistance.
Wheels are not spinning smoothly
Inspect the wheels for trapped debris such as hair or small pebbles. Use a soft brush or compressed air to clean the wheel housing.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Smooth 360-degree wheel mobility
- Expandable compartment for increased storage
- Secure recessed TSA-approved locking system
- Lightweight yet robust hardshell exterior
- Organized interior layout with straps and dividers
Cons
- Hardshell surface can collect surface scratches
- Medium size may require checked baggage fees
- Lack of external pockets for quick-access items
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the TSA lock is simple: set the dials to the default 0-0-0, press the reset button with a pen, input your preferred code, and release. For maintenance, clean the exterior shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the finish. Store the suitcase in a cool, dry place when not in use, preferably inside a dust cover. To prolong the life of the zippers, ensure that the packing straps are fully tightened to avoid overstuffing, which can put unnecessary pressure on the zipper teeth.
