The Christmas PVC Coir Door Mat is designed for homeowners who want to maintain a clean interior while adding a touch of festive cheer to their doorstep. Featuring a charming Christmas Robin design, this mat excels at scraping mud and debris from footwear, making it an essential seasonal utility. Yes, it is designed for outdoor use; however, it should be placed in a sheltered area, such as a porch or under an overhang, to avoid constant saturation from heavy rain.
The easiest way to clean it is to shake it out vigorously or use a stiff-bristled brush to remove trapped dirt and debris.
Yes, the durable PVC backing is designed to keep the mat firmly in place on most floor surfaces.
While the design is durable, prolonged exposure to harsh, direct sunlight may cause slight fading over time. Keeping it in a shaded or sheltered spot will preserve the colors best.
The mat is sized for standard entryways, but always check the specific product measurements to ensure it fits your designated space.
As this is a natural coir product, slight variations in color and texture are normal and part of the authentic character of the material.
Ensure the mat is placed on a completely flat, level surface. The heavy PVC backing should flatten out over time, but you can place a heavy book on the edge for a few hours to speed up the process.
Some shedding is normal for new coir mats. Vigorously shake the mat outside upon arrival to remove loose fibers from the manufacturing process.
Setup is straightforward: simply unroll the mat in your desired location. It is compatible with most hard-surface flooring types like tile, wood, or concrete. To ensure longevity, keep the mat in a sheltered area protected from direct, heavy rainfall, as excessive water saturation can degrade natural coir over time. Maintenance is simple; regular shaking or a light brushing with a stiff-bristled broom will remove trapped dirt. Do not machine wash or submerge the mat in water.
