Full details
Finerfilters 10" GAC/KDF Water Filter. This filter cartridge is made with activated coconut shell carbon and non-woven polypropylene material, effectively removing chlorine and organic compounds through KDF filtration. The KDF media works to reduce or remove chlorine, iron, hydrogen sulphide, lead, mercury, calcium carbonate, magnesium, chromium, bacteria, algae, and fungi. It can remove up to 98% of water-soluble cations of heavy metals like lead, mercury, copper, nickel, and chromium. In most cases, over 98% of chlorine is removed when operated within the recommended flow rates. It is advised to flush the water through for 5 minutes to clear any loose particles and carbon fines. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality. This filter is for cold water applications only. It contains NSF Certified KDF and coconut-based granular activated carbon, assembled in the United Kingdom. Operating Parameters: Flow Rate: 14 litres per minute, Temperature Range: 0 - 40°F, Operating Pressure: 0.1 - 0.4 Mpa. Life Span: 8-12 months.
