Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Before starting, ensure you have all the necessary tools (drill, screwdriver, measuring tape, and safety glasses).
- Positioning: Hold a mudflap against the wheel arch to determine the best placement. Use the embedded alloy strip to shape and contour the mudflap as needed.
- Drilling: If necessary, use the mudflap as a template to mark the drill points on the wheel arch. Drill pilot holes to ensure proper screw fitment.
- Installation: Align the mudflap and secure it using the provided screws. Make sure the screws are tightened properly without over-tightening.
- Repeat: Repeat these steps for all four mudflaps.
Compatibility
These mudflaps are designed to be universally compatible with most standard car arches. However, they are not suitable for vehicles that require molded mudflaps. Check your car's wheel arches and ensure there is enough space and a suitable surface for mounting.
Care
To maintain the mudflaps and ensure they provide continued protection:
- Regularly inspect the mudflaps for any signs of damage or wear.
- Clean the mudflaps with soap and water to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Check the screws periodically to ensure they are secure.
