Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before the first use, you must perform an initial cleaning to remove any protective wax applied by the factory. Wash the pan thoroughly with hot water and a mild detergent, then dry it immediately. To prepare the surface, season the pan by heating a small amount of oil until it smokes, swirling it to coat the base, and then wiping it clean with a paper towel.
Compatibility is universal; this pan works on electric, gas, ceramic, and induction ranges, as well as BBQs and campfires. After each use, hand wash the pan with hot water only—avoid soap if possible—and dry it completely on the stove over low heat. Once dry, wipe a thin layer of cooking oil over the surface to prevent rust during storage.
