Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Select the desired location on your hard wall surface (painted walls, plaster, drywall).
- Hold a hook firmly against the wall.
- Using a hammer or a firm hand, gently tap the pin of the hook into the wall until it is secure. Ensure the pin is driven in straight to maximize holding power.
- Test the hook's stability before hanging any items.
Compatibility:
These hooks are specifically designed for hard wall surfaces including:
- Painted Walls
- Plaster
- Drywall (standard interior wallboard)
They are not recommended for:
- Soft wall surfaces (e.g., some types of acoustic paneling)
- Wallpaper directly without reinforcing the wall behind it.
- Very hard materials like concrete or brick, where the pins may not penetrate.
Care:
- Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure items hung do not exceed the hook's weight capacity. Periodically check that hooks remain secure.
