Setup, Compatibility & Care
To establish your plant, place it in a hole twice the size of the 17cm pot it arrives in, backfilling with a mix of high-quality compost and native soil. Ensure the root ball is level with the soil surface. Watering is crucial during the first year of growth, especially during dry spells. For container growth, choose a pot with drainage holes and use a loam-based potting compost. Pruning should be performed immediately after the flowering season concludes to remove dead or diseased wood and encourage strong growth for the following year.
