FAQs
Does this clock work outside of the UK?
No, this clock is designed to receive the MSF time signal specifically from the UK atomic clock.
Does it require batteries?
Yes, it requires standard batteries to power the quartz movement and the radio synchronization circuitry.
Can I manually set the time if the signal is poor?
Radio-controlled clocks are typically designed to sync automatically. Refer to the specific model movement instructions, but it is generally recommended to let the clock find the signal.
Is the frame made of wood or plastic?
The clock features a stylish brown frame designed for durability and a classic appearance.
How do I know if it has synced?
The clock will automatically position its hands based on the signal received; if the time is accurate, the sync was successful.
Troubleshooting
The clock is not showing the correct time.
Ensure the clock is in an area with good signal reception and allow up to 24 hours for it to receive the signal and adjust itself.
The hands are spinning or stationary.
Check that the battery is fresh and properly seated. If the battery is weak, the radio signal reception may be intermittent.
Clock is not adjusting for daylight savings.
Ensure the clock has been left in a position where it can receive the MSF signal during the night before the daylight savings change occurs.
