FAQs

Does this include the frame?

No, this product is the fabric cover only. The Skylite Rapid frame must be purchased separately.

What is the size of this fabric?

This fabric is designed for the Medium size frame, measuring 1.1 x 2 meters or 3.6 x 6.6 feet.

Can I use this outdoors?

Yes, but ensure the frame is heavily weighted or secured with sandbags, as the large surface area can act like a sail in windy conditions.

How many stops of light does it block?

This specific fabric provides 1.25 stops of diffusion.

Is the fabric machine washable?

It is recommended to clean the fabric by hand with mild soap and water to preserve the tension-holding properties of the material.

Troubleshooting

Fabric appears too tight to clip onto the frame

Ensure that all four sections of your Skylite frame are fully clicked into place and not partially retracted.

Light creates uneven soft spots

Check that all clips are evenly distributed and the fabric is centered correctly on the frame to maintain uniform tension.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up, first assemble your Manfrotto Skylite Rapid Medium frame. Once the frame is locked into place, start by attaching the fabric clips to one corner and work your way around the perimeter until all clips are securely fastened.

Compatibility: This fabric is exclusively compatible with the Manfrotto Skylite Rapid Medium frame (1.1 x 2m / 3.6 x 6.6ft). It will not fit frames of other sizes or from different manufacturers.

Care Instructions: Keep the fabric clean by wiping it with a damp cloth if it gets dusty. If it becomes heavily soiled, use a gentle detergent and water, ensuring it is completely air-dried before folding and storing it in its carry bag. Avoid sharp objects near the fabric surface to prevent snags or tears.
