Product Information
Full details
The Lorina Continental 3 Ring French Link Gag is a bit commonly used for jumping, cross country and fast work. The French link mouthpiece eliminates the nutcracker action. This bit should be used with roundings or two reins. Exerts poll pressure and a limited gag action to provide additional control. French link bits soften the effect of a single jointed bit by eliminating the nutcracker action. This is achieved by a shaped flat plate which rests on the horse's tongue. This bit from Lorina is made from highly polished stainless steel to prevent rusting and improve durability. The 4 ring bit should be used with two reins; one on the main snaffle ring, with the other on either of the two lower, smaller rings, depending on the required poll pressure.
