Setup, Compatibility & Care
Out of the box, the bike is almost fully assembled, with the rack, mudguards, and lights already installed. Before your first ride, ensure the battery is fully charged using the provided Shimano charger. Check that the tire pressure is set within the recommended range for the 50 mm tires to maximize comfort.
For long-term care, keep the drivetrain clean and lubricated to ensure the 9-speed Shimano system remains precise. Regularly inspect the hydraulic brake pads for wear, especially if you commute in hilly areas. Because the cables are internally routed, it is recommended to have a professional technician handle internal cable maintenance to maintain the bike's sleek aesthetic and mechanical integrity. Always store the bike in a dry location and keep the battery contacts clean to ensure efficient charging.
