Troubleshooting

Hairspray feels sticky or leaves residue.

Use less product and ensure you're holding the can the correct distance (about 12 inches) from your hair. Brush through your hair after application.

Style doesn't hold as long as expected.

Use a sufficient amount of hairspray and make sure to apply evenly. Ensure your hair is properly styled before applying the hairspray.

Hairspray doesn't seem to reduce flyaways.

Apply the hairspray evenly and ensure that you're using the right amount for your hair type. You might also need to use additional smoothing products before applying the hairspray.

Nozzle gets clogged.

Wipe the nozzle with a clean tissue after each use to prevent clogging. If the nozzle is clogged, try rinsing it with warm water.
