What does TCT mean?
TCT stands for Tungsten Carbide Tipped. It refers to the material used on the tip of the drill bit, which enhances durability and cutting efficiency.
What if the drill bit gets stuck in the material?
Try reversing the drill to remove the bit. If that doesn't work, reduce pressure and try again.
Troubleshooting
Drill bit is not drilling efficiently.
Check the sharpness of the bit. Ensure that you are applying the correct pressure and using the recommended speed for the material. Replace a dull bit.
Drill bit gets stuck or jammed.
Reduce pressure and try to reverse the drill to remove the bit. If this fails, try using a lubricant or tapping gently with a hammer.
Drill bit breaks.
Reduce pressure and drill at a slower speed. Ensure that the drill bit is the appropriate size and type for the material.
