Yes, use the defrost function to ensure the center of the waffle is heated properly before crisping the exterior.
After inserting your bagel and selecting your browning level, press the 'Bagel' button before pushing the lever down.
While the finish is high quality, the sides may become warm during extended use. Always use the lever to handle the bread.
It is recommended to empty the tray weekly to prevent crumbs from burning and creating smoke.
The slots are designed for standard toasting needs, but very large or irregularly shaped slices may need to be trimmed to fit.
Ensure the slice is not too large for the slot and check that the self-centering racks are not obstructed by debris.
Verify the plug is firmly seated in the outlet and the lever is locked into the 'down' position.
Check the crumb tray for an accumulation of debris and ensure no food particles are touching the heating elements.
To begin, place the toaster on a flat, heat-resistant surface with at least 10cm of clearance on all sides to ensure proper ventilation. Before the first use, run the toaster on the highest setting empty for one cycle to burn off any manufacturing residue. For daily care, simply press the touch-release button on the side to remove the crumb tray; empty it over a bin and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Never use abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals on the matte exterior, as these can scratch the finish. Use a damp microfiber cloth for exterior smudge removal.
