Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin using your ROG Strix SCAR 18, connect the included high-capacity power adapter to ensure the hardware can draw the necessary wattage for peak performance. During initial setup, follow the Windows installation prompts to configure your preferences and update system drivers via the integrated software management tools. To maintain performance, ensure the intake and exhaust vents remain clear of obstructions at all times to prevent thermal throttling. Periodically clean the keyboard and surface with a dry microfiber cloth and keep the device in a well-ventilated area to maximize the lifespan of the internal cooling fans.
