Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This watch typically comes with the crown in a pulled-out position to conserve battery. To set the time, gently push the crown in and pull it out to the first or second position (depending on the model's features, e.g., date function). Rotate the crown to adjust the hands to the correct time. If a date function is present, consult the watch's specific manual for setting the date, usually done by pulling the crown to the first position. Ensure the crown is pushed fully back in to resume normal timekeeping.
Compatibility: This is a standalone analog wristwatch. Its primary compatibility is with personal style and attire. It requires no electronic pairing or software.
Care: To maintain the appearance and functionality of your Sekonda watch:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the watch case and bracelet with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish. For the watch crystal, use a microfiber cloth.
- Water Resistance: While many watches have some level of water resistance, avoid prolonged submersion unless explicitly stated for your model. Exposure to saltwater, chlorinated water, and perfumes should be minimized.
- Storage: When not in use, store the watch in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original box or a soft pouch to prevent scratches.
- Battery: The watch is powered by a battery. When the timekeeping becomes erratic or stops, the battery will need professional replacement.
