FAQs
Can I put these tabs in my tumble dryer?
No, these tabs are designed for storage areas only and are not heat-resistant for appliance use.
How long does the scent typically last?
The duration depends on the environment, but they are designed to provide a sustained scent for several weeks when used in a closed cabinet.
Will the fragrance stain my white linens?
It is recommended to avoid direct contact between the tab and fabrics; place the tab in a small container or mesh pouch to prevent direct transfer.
Are these safe for use around pets?
As with any fragranced item, keep them out of reach of pets and children to avoid ingestion.
How many tabs should I use in one cupboard?
One tab is usually sufficient for a small drawer or shelf; use two for a standard double-door linen closet.
Troubleshooting
The scent is not strong enough.
Add an additional tab to the storage area or ensure the cupboard door is fully sealed to prevent airflow.
The fragrance is fading too quickly.
Ensure the tab is kept out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources like radiator pipes.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Sustained fresh scent for confined storage areas
- Easy to position without taking up significant space
- Individually wrapped to prevent scent fatigue during storage
- Perfect for neutralizing musty smells in closed textile cabinets
Cons
- Not suitable for use in dryers or high-heat appliances
- Fragrance intensity may vary based on the size of the room
- Not intended for direct contact with delicate or sensitive fabrics
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin, remove the desired number of tabs from the main packaging, keeping the others sealed to maintain their freshness. When placing a tab, ensure it is not resting directly against fabrics that might be prone to staining or oil transfer; placing the tab inside a small mesh bag or a shallow tray is recommended for optimal safety. These tabs are compatible with all standard domestic storage furniture, including wood, plastic, and metal shelving. To maintain the life of the product, always ensure the cupboard doors are kept closed to prevent the fragrance from escaping into the open room, which would shorten the lifespan of the tab.
