25m BT Socket Extension Kit - External Copper CAT5e Cable Supplied. This kit allows for custom length cutting during installation for a professional finish. It features high-grade CAT5e cable with more twists per meter and a pure copper core, ensuring minimal signal degradation and maintaining broadband speed. The outdoor-rated cable can be run externally, with two included brick buster plates to cover drilled holes and prevent water ingress. While only 3 of the 8 cores are used for a single BT extension, spare cores can be utilized for a second line or networking applications. The kit includes 50m of CAT5e outdoor cable, a surface-mounted BT extension socket with screws and back box, two brick buster plates, 100 cable clips, and an IDC tool. For newer NTE5A master sockets, the extension socket should be wired to the master socket by connecting terminal 2 to 2, 3 to 3, and 5 to 5 using the IDC tool.
