FAQs

How often should I apply Prinovox?

It is recommended to apply one pipette every month for continuous protection.

Can I use this on a puppy?

Consult your veterinarian regarding the minimum age and weight requirements for your specific puppy.

What should I do if my dog gets wet after application?

Avoid bathing or swimming for 48 hours after application. Occasional contact with water after this period is generally acceptable.

Does this treat all types of worms?

Prinovox treats common intestinal worms; however, it does not cover all tapeworm species. Consult your vet for a complete parasite management plan.

What if my dog weighs exactly 4kg?

This product is formulated for dogs up to 4kg. If your dog is exactly 4kg or slightly over, consult your vet to ensure the dosage is appropriate.

Troubleshooting

The liquid ran off the dog's skin onto the fur

Ensure you are parting the fur thoroughly before application. Apply directly to the skin in a single, clean spot.

Dog has skin redness at the application site

Wash the area gently with mild soap and water to remove excess product and consult your vet.

  • Covers multiple types of parasites including fleas and worms
  • Trusted veterinary brand
  • Convenient 4-pack format for consistent monthly treatment

  • Must be used consistently every month for full protection

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Before using Prinovox, confirm your dog weighs between the specified limit of 4kg. If your dog is near the weight threshold or has underlying health conditions, consult your veterinarian first. Store the pipettes in their original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and other pets. Always monitor your pet after the first application for any signs of skin irritation at the site of application. If the condition persists, contact your veterinary professional immediately.
