FAQs

Is this panel compatible with older Trakker brolly models?

No, this specific infill panel is designed exclusively for the Tempest RS Brolly.

Can I use the door in a letter box style?

Yes, the dual-zipped doors are designed to allow you to drop the top section down, creating a letter box opening.

Does this provide 100% weather protection?

When zipped correctly, it provides a full seal against wind and rain, though it is a front panel and does not fully enclose the base like a full bivvy.

How do I store the panel properly?

Always ensure the material is dry before folding it to prevent mold and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Does it affect the weight of my gear significantly?

No, the panel is made from lightweight polyester and is designed to be minimal in weight, perfect for mobile fishing.

Troubleshooting

Zip is sticking during installation

Ensure the brolly frame is fully tensioned and that no fabric is caught in the zipper teeth.

Panel feels loose when installed

Check that the zip is fully engaged at the start point and that the tension straps on the brolly are properly adjusted.

Condensation building up inside

Open the adaptive ventilation panels on the sides to improve cross-flow and reduce internal moisture.

Pros and Cons

Dual-zipped door allows for flexible 'letter box' configuration
Improved ventilation via adaptive side panels
Lightweight and highly portable for mobile anglers

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To install the panel, align the zip of the infill panel with the front rim of your Tempest RS Brolly and pull the zip all the way around. Ensure the material is taut to prevent water pooling in heavy rain. For cleaning, wipe the polyester material with a soft, damp cloth and ensure it is completely air-dried before folding and storing it in a dry location. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can compromise the water-resistant coating of the fabric.
