Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires a 31.8mm handlebar clamp stem. When installing, always use a torque wrench to tighten the faceplate bolts to the manufacturer's recommended torque setting (typically 5-6Nm, check your specific stem manual) to prevent damaging the aluminum surface. Use carbon-prep paste if installing onto a carbon stem faceplate to ensure a secure, slip-free fit.
To care for your bars, inspect them periodically for deep scratches or impacts after a crash. Keep them clean by wiping with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemical degreasers that could damage the anodized finish. If mounting accessories like computers or lights, ensure the clamps do not exceed the clamping area width to avoid structural stress.
