No, the TeckNet C-76807 operates on a dedicated radio frequency and does not require an internet connection or Wi-Fi to function.
There is typically a button on the side of the receiver that allows you to cycle through the available chime tones.
First, replace the battery inside the push button unit. If the issue persists, ensure the button and receiver are correctly paired according to the manual.
Verify the receiver is firmly plugged into a functional wall outlet and check if the battery in the push button needs replacement.
Ensure the receiver is not blocked by large metal objects or electronic devices that cause signal interference; try moving the receiver to a different outlet closer to the door.
Adjust the volume settings on the side or front of the receiver unit to a higher level.
Setting up the system involves mounting the push button using the provided adhesive or screws and plugging the receiver into an indoor outlet. Ensure the receiver is within the manufacturer's specified signal range for optimal operation. To care for your doorbell, periodically wipe the push button with a soft, dry cloth to clear away dust or debris. If the button is exposed to extreme weather for long periods, check the mounting area to ensure it remains secure and that the seal is not compromised. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents on the plastic casing.
