Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility: These SPR670 filters are exclusively designed for GVS Elipse Low Profile Masks, specifically models SPR668, SPR669, SPR673, and SPR674. They are not interchangeable with other mask brands or GVS models.
Setup (Filter Replacement):
- Ensure the GVS Elipse mask is clean and dry.
- Carefully remove the old filters from the mask. This usually involves a twist-and-pull motion.
- Align the new SPR670 filter with the corresponding port on the mask.
- Push and twist the filter until it securely locks into place. A proper seal is crucial for effective protection.
- Repeat for the other side of the mask.
Care:
- Store filters in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and pollutants when not in use.
- Keep filters in their original packaging until ready for installation.
- Inspect filters for any damage before each use. Do not use if damaged.
- Replace filters according to the manufacturer's recommended schedule or when breathing becomes difficult, or if the odor of contaminants is detected. The typical lifespan is up to 3 years, but this can vary based on usage and environment.
