The D.I.D VX X-Ring Gold Motorcycle Drive Chain is designed for street and touring riders who require a high-performance, low-maintenance solution for power transmission. Its key benefit lies in the advanced X-ring sealing technology that significantly reduces friction and prevents debris ingress, though users should be prepared for the specialized skill required to install the included ZJ rivet link correctly.

No, this chain is designed for use with the provided ZJ rivet link to ensure the required fatigue resistance and safety standards.
While the X-rings hold internal lubrication well, you should apply an X-ring safe chain wax every 300 to 500 miles or after riding in wet conditions.
The gold finish is primarily for aesthetics and provides an extra layer of corrosion resistance against the elements.
You will need a chain breaker to remove your old chain and a rivet tool to securely stake the pins of the new ZJ link.
Always refer to your motorcycle owner's manual for the required chain pitch and tensile strength rating for your specific engine size.
Check chain tension; it may be too loose or misaligned on the rear sprocket.
Clean the area thoroughly with an approved X-ring cleaner and apply a high-quality chain lubricant; replace the chain if the link remains seized.
Verify that your rear sprockets are not worn, as worn teeth will accelerate chain wear regardless of quality.
To ensure peak performance, verify that your motorcycle requires a 525 pitch chain as indicated by the 'DID525VXGB112' specification. Always replace your sprockets when installing a new chain to prevent premature wear. For installation, a high-quality rivet tool is mandatory to properly flare the ZJ rivet link pins. When performing maintenance, use only O-ring/X-ring compatible chain cleaners and waxes, as harsh solvents can damage the rubber seal gaskets and lead to premature failure.
