The FloPlast Round Downpipe Side Fix Clip (RC3B) is an essential component for homeowners and contractors installing or repairing 68mm round PVC downpipe systems. It provides a secure, reliable method for anchoring downpipes to building facades, ensuring the entire assembly remains stable during high winds or heavy rainfall. While it offers excellent durability and a professional finish, users should note that it is strictly designed for 68mm round systems and may not be compatible with square profile downpipes or larger diameter plumbing.

No, this clip is specifically engineered for 68mm round downpipes only.
It is generally recommended to place a clip every 1.5 to 2 meters to ensure adequate support.
While the black finish is designed for longevity, if you choose to paint them, ensure you use a plastic-compatible primer and exterior paint.
Yes, the product is manufactured from high-quality PVC formulated for outdoor use and resistance to environmental degradation.
No, mounting screws and wall plugs are typically sold separately as they must be chosen based on the specific surface (brick, wood, or concrete) you are attaching to.
Check that the wall plug used is the correct size for the drill bit and masonry type; replace with a higher-grip plug if necessary.
Verify that your downpipe is standard 68mm round; if there is a slight gap, ensure the clip is centered and properly tightened.
Installation requires standard tools, including a drill, masonry bit, and appropriate wall plugs for your specific building material. Ensure the clip is positioned flush against the surface before tightening. Compatibility is strictly limited to 68mm round downpipe systems; do not attempt to force this clip onto larger or non-round profiles as it may lead to cracking or structural failure. For care and maintenance, periodically inspect the clips after extreme weather events to ensure that fasteners remain tight and the PVC has not become brittle. To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive chemicals that might degrade the finish.
