The DT-04 NXGEN is the consequent further development of TAMIYA Fighter Buggy models and THE beginner's buggy for next-generation racers! Since 1996, Tamiya has set new standards for entry-level and the RC car scene with the Fighter Buggies. The DT-04 is based on the proven basis of the DT-03 and has been revised at many places. Thereby, NXGEN stands for "Next-Generation", i.e. the latest generation of Fighter WD buggies. Both technically and visually a lot is new in this model: The Optik is based on the popular one-seater American racing buggies with 2 WD rear-wheel drive. TAMIYA uses this with already white colored plastic parts which makes it unnecessary to lacquer. From the kit, the model can be built in 2 color variants and the driver figure with helmet makes the Fighter a real eye-catcher! Technically, the NXGEN offers a new 3-piece steering, hydraulic shock absorber, new axle carrier, 6-sided wheel mounts at the front and rear, new steering lever and much more! The model can be built in 2 different wheelstands (265mm or 280mm). This is simply done by turning the front lower transverse links and the conversion of the steering. A short wheelbase makes the model agile on the racing track and the long wheelbase enables quiet ride.
