Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires basic plumbing tools, such as pipe wrenches or slip-joint pliers, and appropriate sealing washers or lubricant to ensure a watertight connection at the cistern inlet and the flush pipe connector.
- Preparation: Ensure the water supply to the cistern is turned off and the cistern is fully drained.
- Measurement: Confirm that your existing pipe runs align with the 16" x 16" dimensions of this unit.
- Connection: Secure the pipe using the appropriate coupling nuts or compression fittings provided with your specific cistern hardware.
- Testing: Once installed, refill the cistern and perform several trial flushes to check for any drips or leaks at the joints.
For maintenance, keep the exterior clean by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the material over time.
